Holiday Cards from Stationary Market

At a Discount!

It always amazes me how quickly the holidays sneak up on me.  One day it’s the first day of school and then I turn around and Halloween is over and it’s nothing but Christmas trees and holiday music!  Where does the time go?  It usually sends me into a slight panic as I begin to think about the ever increasing list of things to do and people to shop for…(insert me taking deep cleansing breathes)  What if I told you there was one place you could shop ...

The Weekend Before Thanksgiving

Editor's Note

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable week so far. I am excited to announce our winners for the Phineas & Ferb LIVE family four packs are Laura S. and Nancy L. Congratulations! Deanna C. will enjoy free ballroom dancing lessons from Basically Ballroom!

If you are still planning on going to the Phineas & Ferb 4 pm show on Saturday, don't forget the Macaroni Kid discount. We also have a discount to LEGO KidsFest and a giveaway for 2 tickets on Sunday, the second session from 3 to 7:30.

This week we have a review of a custom necklace by local business, a.j. wear. Since Christmas is right around the corner and this is the kind of gift that works for so many women, check it out!

I added a science fun article. It's a little messy but easy to do with very few ingredient.

Apparently Christmas tree season is here. If you tag trees, you can consider visiting a local tree farm this weekend to pick your perfect evergreen.

Here are the quick links to the weekend's calendar listings:

Some of the great activities for the weekend include Phineas & Ferb LIVE in Hartford, a free planetarium show and observation evening at West Conn in Danbury, and guided tours at the Maritime Aquarium.

In speaking with Angie, I amazed to discover that making jewelry is her second job. That's right. A full time job and making and selling jewelry, too.

And she's so darn nice! We had a wonderful conversation ...
