Brrr!

Editor's Note

We finally have some "seasonal" weather, which means it's time to break out those gloves and scarves. Some of us woke up to a dusting of snow.  Must be December!

I'm going to brave the cold and enjoy the warmth of other women at the Mom's Night Out which was rescheduled for this evening

LEGO KidsFest was a blast! We met so many great kids and I saw some really amazing LEGO sculptures. I would love to know how many LEGO bricks were there.

Welcome to our new subscribers from LEGO KidsFest and the SWC Turkey Trot.

I had some fun earlier this week and explored a video-making tool called "search stories". Check out this cute video for Macaroni Kid:

My weekend will be dominated by a birthday party for my littlest (who will be four!) and a cookie swap at his preschool, Misty Morning. I am looking forward to the "special guest" who will surprise the kids at the cookie swap. Here's a hint: "ho, ho, ho!"

In between I will check out some great holiday classics on TV, simmer up my own, homemade potpourri, and sip a warm, pumpkin-y brew.

We have wonderful holiday fun listed in the calendar: train rides, Nutcracker and Christmas Carol performances, concerts galore, and more!

Enter our giveaway for Disney on Ice at the XL Center. I was given a family four pack for one of you lucky readers to win and you can choose any of the shows to attend. Our giveaways are for our local Macaroni Kid only, so there is a really great chance to win!

I haven't had anyone enter the Stationary Market giveaway yet. The first person to email me ([email protected]) gets it!

Here are the quick links to the weekend's calendar of events (and they actually are updated to the right weekend!):

Check back often for updates and don't forget Facebook, where new items are often posted!
