Love is in the Chair!

W.O.W (Whats On in Woodbury) will be hosting a Silent Auction at Woodbury's Christmas Festival on Dec. 5th between 10 am - 3 pm at the Woodbury Senior Center to help raise money for community services council fuel assistance program. While you are browsing around looking at all the wonderful items to buy take a look at the chairs that have been donated. Each chair has been repainted with love to be donated to help this wonderful cause. When the chairs have been won you will be asked to come back to the Senior Center from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm and pay for your chair during the Ice cream Social.
If you can help out with this wonderful cause and take a child's old chair and give it new life and a new home then you are just in luck! W.O.W would love for you and the family to grab and old chair and repaint it to give it a new home. You can sign up by calling the Woodbury Library, Woodbury Senior Center, or Parks and Rec. This is a wonderful project to help teach kids the importance of doing a good deed and helping the community while having fun. Chairs never need to be perfect so Kids are welcome to help by decorating with hand prints, Sponges, paint brushes and more! When your chair is done please have it brought to the Woodbury Senior Center between Dec 1 st - Dec 4 pm 8 am - 4 pm.
