The mornings are brisk and the days are beautiful and crisp. Fall is a wonderful time to get out and enjoy nature and have fun as a family. Our local organizations know this and help fill Autumn with festivals, fairs, and fun.
Halloween is an especially fun time of year for children (and adults!) as they look forward to wearing another hat (literally) during trick-or-treating and enjoying a bounty of candy they never see any other time of year. While the scares of the Halloween season started in the beginning of October, this coming weekend sees some of the first costume events for kids.
If fact, there are so many Halloween events, I had to put them in their own article. Here is a quick link to the Halloween events for this weekend, October 22nd and 23rd. If you love to plan ahead, here are the Halloween events for Halloween weekend 2011, October 28, 29, 30, and 31. Of particular note to moms of teens: Westfield Trumbull mall is the only place that is allowing teens 16 and under to trick-or-treat.
We've finished up our two giveaways for Senor Panchos and the Sunnyfield Studio Class. Congratulations to our winners, Rebecca S. and Judy B., respectively. This week brings us a new giveaway from our sponsor, Basically Ballroom. Macaroni Kid is such a great community resource because of our sponsors.
Now to the events! Don't forget to tell everyone you found out about them on Macaroni Kid! Share the Macaroni Kid love and fun by forwarding the newsletter to a friend. Use the handy link in the upper-right corner.
