Classic style with a vintage flair
When I first visited a.j. wear on Etsy, I was just amazed at the beauty of Angie's work. Each of the pieces has a balance between clean lines and curves that really appealed to me.
In speaking with Angie, I amazed to discover that making jewelry is her second job. That's right. A full time job and making and selling jewelry, too.
a.j. wear offers Angie's original designs along with vintage discoveries, some repurposed vintage finds, and custom work made-to-order.
One of the made-to-order pieces that she offers is a custom necklace. You can choose your own chain length and choose up to three different charms. I was so excited to receive it. Even the package was lovely.
The chain is delicate sterling silver and the charms are also sterling. The quality of Angie's work is lovely.
I loved Angie's idea of a mother's necklace using the initials of my children along with Swarovski crystals representing the colors of their birthstones. Since the custom necklace includes three charms, it was perfect for my three children.
Even with the other fun, meaningful, and lovely charms available, I am so pleased with the initial charms. They were lovely and having them next to my heart was a warm, concrete reminder of my kids even when all of them are in school.
There are a few women I want to give presents to this year, and I will be visiting a.j. wear for them.
