Kettledrum Farm in Southbury, CT offers its summer camp horseback riders a lot of horse time--time learning about horses, time preparing and helping with horse care, and time on horseback. We help build young riders' confidence on and off the horse. We encourage individual growth, teach responsibility, and help develop riding skills that will last a lifetime. Each Kettledrum Farm camp has experienced help and is run by the owner of the farm, Maggie Buck. Ages 7 to 12. Riders will be required to wear a helmet (provided), long pants, and a closed-toe shoe with a heel. Please bring a bagged lunch. Limited spaces are available.
