Join in on the fun and frolic that has become Hi5netTV's FIRST THURSDAY!   Now our 13th live show, Woodbury's own Hi5netTV's FIRST THURSDAY is a curated showcase of ALL original music and spoken word, emceed by broadcast TV host, David Bibbey.  This month's lineup will be a delight.  ALL new material never before seen at a FIRSTTHURSDAY, piano black cabaret tables and a tapas & bar concession available from the award winning Carol Peck of Good News Cafe.   

 

The stage is set for a wonderful night out showcasing some of Connecticut's finest original performing artists.   

Doors will open at 6:30 pm, for Tapas & Bar by Carole Peck of Good News Cafe and the curtain will go up at 7:15 pm.

Community Theatre at Woodbury is auditioning for the male lead for their September 12, 13 and 14 stage reading of "Ancestral Voices," by A.R. Gurney, and directed by Sarah Robards.
“Ancestral Voices” is a bittersweet story, perceived through the eyes of young Eddie, whose family is turned inside out when his grandmother unexpectedly divorces his grandfather in order to marry his grandfather's best friend. 
The part of "Eddie" requires a male in his 20's or 30's to portray “Eddie” as an adult as well as possess the ability to embody the character of "Eddie" from eight through twelve years old.
