Something Spooky for the hole Family

There are a few amazing Sppoky places to go and great places to go do trick-or-treating with the family thies next few week. If you have been to any of thies places before, feel free to leave a comment below to let others know your thoughts. Hope it will be a spooktaculer event for you all!



Where to get a little spooked

March Farm (Bethlehem) Haunted Corn Maze - Explore if you dare; October 17th & 24th from 7PM to 10PM.
Admission: $8/person
Admission includes hayride from farm store
to corn maze. No driving to corn maze - all parking @ Farm Store.
Glow sticks available for $2/each.
No flashlights!
Last ride to corn maze @ 9:30PM. 
The Haunted Corn Maze is dark and features loud, scary sounds & noises in addition to actors who will try to startle you, but never touch you


Gaffney’s Ghoulish House (Monroe) - This fun yet haunted house is from 7-10 p.m. Friday Oct. 24th and 6-10 p.m. Saturday Oct. 25th. Admission is free, but non-perishable food items will be gladly accepted and donated to the Monroe Food Pantry. Event takes place rain or shine at 260 Barn Hill Road.  ********* This is for ALL ages. If you have littleones that would like to go but afrade that it will be to scarry they will tone it down so actors do not pop out at kids so they are less frightened. This is a great beginner for kids to try. They also have some refreshments at the end and a table kids can sit at if they feel they do not wish to try.*******


Haunted Hayride/Barn (Woodbury) - Thanks to the Woodbury Lions Club they will going October 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th, starting from Mitchell School in Woodbury, CT. Tickets for the hayride are $12 for adults and $6 for children under ten. Tickets sales start each night at 6:30PM at Mitchell School until 9PM. Refreshments are available for sale at the school. 

Besides the evening rides, the Lions will also hold a special "Children's Hayride" on October 18 from 1PM to 3PM for younger children for whom the regular hayride may be too scary. The wagons start at Mitchell School and go through some of the quieter streets in town, and stop at the "pumpkin patch" where children can select a pumpkin to take home. Tickets for this ride are $4 for adults, $3 for children. In the case of rain, the children’s hayride will take place on October 25.






Trick-or-Treat/Trunk 

Trick 0r trunk Watertown/Oakville
Come to watertown for a fun filled hour of Trick-or-Trunk. Come with the kids to get some goodies from others or come and dress up your car to pass out candy as well. This is a big event so please come prepared with enough goodies for everyone in that hour. There will be prizes one for several diffrent catagories. If you come and are passing out candy please arive by 1:45!!! No cars will be allowed in after 2:30!! Siemon Business Park, 27 Siemon Company Drive, Watertown



Annual Mischief and Merriment (Oakville/Watertown)  Come out on Oct. 31st from 6PM-8PM and bring the kiddies to have a safe and fun Halloween. There will be some Halloween treats, Games and much, much, more. 


Halloween Party at Kids Down on Main St.

Come from 10AM to 12PM on Oct. 31st.  Bring the kids all dressed up and join the Parade as you walk threw Depot Square. there will also be 3 fun projects, edibal art, a Halloween storie, mystery box senceory. Price is $20 per chiled, If more then one will be attending please ask about our multiple children discount. We ask that you Pre-Pay registration. Space is limited. You can call 860-631-6081


Woodbury RAIN OR SHINE EVENT!!

When : Friday, October 31, 6:00 - 8:00pm 
Where : Hollow Park, Hollow Road, Woodbury
'TRUNKERS':
Bring your car and your kids to Hollow Park on Halloween night. Park your car, open your DECORATED trunk, sit out on your lawn chairs and watch your child trick or treat from car to car while you hand out candy to all of the trick or treaters! Doors open at 5:00 for those cars decorating their trunks, please arrive no later than 5:30 to decorate (no cars can leave the area until 8:00pm).  If you need a larger-than-standard size parking spot (10' across 20' deep), please  email us  or call us at 203-263-3113.  Doors open at 6pm for those coming trick or treating! No Registration Required. 
There will be prizes for Best Decorated trunk!
'TREATERS'
Admission :  No fee, but we ask that each trick-or-treater bring a non-perishable food for the Food Bank as well as a bag of candy for the Trunkers.  These will be collected as you walk from your car to the trunks so please bring them with you from your car.
What to bring:  Your car, your treats, your Food Bank donation and your treaters! 
More Info :  Please do not come in multiple cars, try to keep to one car per family as we do not want parking to become an issue. 
No walk-ins! All children must be accompanied by an adult. All adults must be accompanied by their child(ren). No alcohol please!
We have a group called the "Super Hero Army"attending and will be an excellent addition for the children!  The children can take pictures with their favorite superhero as they will be handing out candy as well.


Trick-or-Treat (Southbury)

We have transformed the Center Firehouse, to appear as a farm, forest, big-top circus, house and dungeon. We have so much fun doing this for the community - and we hope you come to visit!
