As most of you know, this year is our 30th anniversary! To celebrate, WYC (Woodbury Yoga Center) is having an open house on October 25th and offering "A Day of Wellness and Community."  There will be free yoga, free meditation instruction, a free concert, vegetarian buffet, essential oils, and many other activities and wares.

10am - 11:30, our regularly scheduled yoga class  w/Julie (please join in)
11:30 - 4:00 pm - free reflexology, reiki, and chair massage.
12:30 15 minute chair yoga sampler
1:00 onwards - vegan, vegitarian buffett (free)
2:00 pm 30 minute yoga with Art
3:00 pm 30 minute yoga with Janine
4:00 pm singing bowl concert with Michelle Clifton
4:30 instruction and practice meditation with Janaki
6 - 7 pm :The Phoney John Suite concert. A spiritual quest told in story and song explaining a journey from despair to hope.

For early holiday shoppers, there will be locally handcrafted jewelry, home-made soaps, pure location hand woven silk shawls, pure essential oils for sale.

As this is not a beginner program, HS boys **MUST** have played at least 1 season of JV/Varsity volleyball OR if not, have equivalent experience at the Juniors style club level OR have attended a previous Woodbury P&R clinic session last season.  Adult male participants MUST have played organized league volleyball and understand and be able to correctly execute basic volleyball skills.

Players will work with the founder and director of Performance Volleyball, Coach Fred Raymond on perfecting the execution of the fundamental skills of serving, passing, spiking as well as increasing their knowledge and execution of advance Offense and Defense.  Coach Raymond holds CT Coaching Certification.  His 30 year volleyball background includes boys coaching experience within the CT Juniors program, past boy's high school coaching experience, 12 years varsity head girl's coaching experience, as well as coaching a past Regional Alternate to the USA Boy's National Team.  In his coaching career coach Raymond has also worked with a number of young players who have gone on to play D1, 2 or 3 volleyball at Hofstra, Sacred Heart, U.New Haven, SMITH College and Eastern CT.
