Kettledrum Farm is a family-owned and operated barn with the owner on the premises. Kettledrum has a spacious indoor riding area with new sand footing, an outdoor arena, a huntfield with natural jumps, and a short, on-property, walking trail.

Horse Riding Lessons:

Our riding lessons are in English Basic Seat, dressage, and jumping. Some of our riders show, and some do not.
Private lessons are $45 for each half-hour without a commitment or $35 per half-hour with a lesson plan.

Pony Rides: Call in advance and your child can enjoy a ride for $10.

Horse Boarding:

You may use your own farrier, veterinarian, or trainer, or use one of ours.
We have regular and oversized rubber-matted stalls.
All day turnout in single or group paddocks.
Individualized feed program with top quality hay and grain.
No extra fees for fly masks, blanketing, or supplements (owner provided).
Indoor wash stall and outdoor wash rack.

Summer Camp:

We have a half-day summer horse camp for children ages 7 to 12.

My daughters have recently started taking riding lessons at Kettledrum Farm with the owner, Maggie Buck. Maggie has been teaching them the basics of horse communication, horse care. and riding. She allows the kids to progress at their own pace and provides them with an appropriate level of challenge so that they move forward as quickly as they can handle.
