A look at the New Moon in Buddhist and Jewish perspectives from Anam Cara Center in Oxford, CT

Discussion of the importance and influence of the New Moon celebrations of these two world religions. Participants will create their own "sit-upon" - a small pad, great for outdoor meditation seating, & experience an outdoor meditation session, weather permitting.
Where: The "Workshop Room"

Oxford, CT.When: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PMWho: Appropriate for ages 14 and up. Under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are encouraged to participate with their teens, but may attend as observers if preferred. No babysitting facilities for younger sibs, sorry.How: RSVP to: [email protected] **Include subject: "Ancient Echoes", and please list the number of participants (and adult observers if appropriate), plus ages of any participants under 17. Enrollment limited to 12 participants.
RSVPs are required so that we may plan supplies accordingly.Cost: Suggested donation is $5 - $15, to defray program costs. Any contribution will be gratefully accepted. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
