Mark your calender's because Museum Day Live! is happening on Sep. 21st, 2019 and you can start getting your tickets on Aug. 15 2019. What? You never heard of Museum Day? Well you are in for a special treat. You know how you tell yourself that you want to one day go to a museum but maybe it was just to much to go at that time. Well now is your chance! The Smithsonian Museum has joined with some of our local museums to give you free addition for one day!!  How exciting is that! Below is a list of participating Museums here in Connecticut. There are also some in Mass. or even New York that you can look up on the Museum Day Live!  website. What one will you pick?

Museum Day Live!  Ticket provides free admission for one person, plus a guest.  Some things you need to know:

  1. You can receive one ticket per household. One ticket gets 2 people in free.
  2. A ticket will gain entry into only one museum and only a participating museum.
  3. ONLY an official Museum Day ticket is eligible for free entry.  And just how do you get your hands on one of them?  Go to Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day, answer a few questions, and your ticket will be emailed to you...it's that easy!

There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but there IS a free museum ticket waiting for you, so go sign up!
