I love writing these round ups of things to do on the weekend. I love that our area has so many options. No matter your favorite enrichment activities (yep--I think that everytime we take our kids out to do something, either with them or when they are on their own, they are the better for it), I hope you can find something in the Macaroni Kid website to do if you'd like.
This is the last week to enter the Senor Panchos $25 gift certficate giveaway, the Sunnyfield Studio children's class worth $120 giveaway, and to use the discount code for coupons for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus at Webster Bank Arena.
There are also articles for Halloween crafts (colorful fall leaves and a Jack O'Lantern), family friendly fall cooking, recipes (mummified hot dogs and apple dumplings) this week. Read up on pumpkin picking and pumpkin carving as you get ready for fall and Halloween.
If you haven’t yet gotten your fresh apples, October is a wonderful time to pick and Macaroni Kid has a list of apple picking locations. There is still plenty of time to enjoy a corn maze, too, and you can find them in our article on Corn Mazes.
